Song art- If we fall in love tonight.
Ok. So the journey of this fanart began in december 2006. I had finished my career and I toyed with the idea of rapidly doodling fanarts for each song that I heard on the radio (so I had like 3 to 5 minutes to make the sketch) . I end up with this : [link] Yet, unlike most of my fanarts... there was something about this one that I liked... but I wanted to do it properly. A bunch of my friends kept telling me that you could do the linework with Photoshop, but I had never tried to do so... so I tried T-T and used the LINE tool . Needless to say I end up with this:[link] Y.Y once again, dissapointed of the failure, I let the fanart simmer til I felt like re doing it , once more. And this week I "felt" like it... I´m glad you liked it^_^
(and no, I won´t give up... I kinda began to draw again now, after almost 3 years of not doing it ( the main pic from where this came from, was a sketch/doodle ... not a an actual "draw". )
About drawing with pencils... I think pencil draws are among the most beautiful ones .. I believe that they have much more "soul" than the ones that are inked+processed.
I tell you, before I ink them, my draws look much better than afterwards... the pen takes part of it´s (and I know I´m repeating myself here) soul.
It kinda dies a little... I dunno how to explain it.
I know that after all the cgizing it kinda ends up looking better than the inked version, but that something that was lost from the pencil draw, I can´t get back.
